i was having identical twins i found out 2 days before new years eve that one twin would die after
birth. i was offered all the selective reduction procedures but i knew i couldnt do that. i know
anencephaly is not compatible with life but i loved both my boys and still do. we decided to carry
to term and all the time pregnant we had 2 plan the funeral i even picked the hymns and designed the
mass cards it was so sad picking a coffin and a cot, but i wanted to do it before neaven was born so
i could enjoy whatever time i had and not have to worry about my hubby organising it on his own.
he was born first twin at 1 36 am and died at 4 45 am on the 1st june 2007 . lived for a wonderful 3
and a half hours. he had black hair and weighed 3 lb 2 oz.he cried once and he looked at me shortly
after that he slipped into a coma and developed apnoea. until he passed he was christened at 3.30
and he went peacefully something which im very grateful for.
he leaves behind his twin william, born 20 mins later, his big brother bobby 3 sister leahrose 2 and
lots of cousins, aunts uncles, friends and nan. we played twinkle twinkle at his funeral which
really stands out for me it was lovely, we tell his brothers, sister and cousins that hes a little
star and to me he is.
he died of anencephaly which is an open neural tube defect. this happens in the 3rd week of
pregnancy so before you know really. this can be avoided with the use of folic acid, so please make
sure you take it.
we miss him and wish we could have got to know him. he might not have lived long but he lives with
us forever.
WILLIAM NEAVENS TWIN HAS DIED AGED 19 MONTHS ON THE 28TH OF DECEMBER 08.
SITTING BACK WE WONDER WHY,

THINGS WERE PERFECT AT THE START,
WE LOVED OUR BABIES FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEART,
TWINS, WE WERE TOLD, WE WERE SO GLAD,
WE DIDN`T REALISE, SOON WE`D BE SAD,
THEN OUR WORLD WAS TORN APART,
IT FELT OUR JOY WAS RIPPED FROM OUR HEART,
YOU WOULDN`T MAKE IT WE WERE TOLD,
BUT TO US YOUR SHORT LIFE WAS LIKE GLEAMING GOLD,
YOUR BROTHER WAS FINE, BUT ALAS YOU WERE NOT,
NOW I SIT AND CRY AT YOUR EMPTY COT,
YOUR LIFE WILL LIVE ON IN THE GUISE OF YOUR BROTHER,
BUT MY DEAREST SON THEIR WILL BE NO OTHER,
YOU WILL ALWAYS BE SPECIAL AND WE`LL NEVER FORGET,
OUR DARLING SON, WHO WE ONCE MET,
SO GOD LOOK AFTER OUR DARLING NEAVEN,
UNTIL WE ALL MEET AGAIN IN HEAVEN.
im very sorry 2 hear of ur loss i lost my baby girl in march this year at 23 weeks an my life as been a bit of a blur my little girl had a blockage in her brain there were nothin they could do she was already gone when i gave birth 2 her but knowin im not alone is some kind of comfort love 2 u an all ur family xxx

I am so sorry for your loss. Neaven is in heaven now with all the angels and saints. Will continue to pray for you and your family. May the Good Lord shine his countenance upon you all and be gracious to you and may you find peace that passeth all understanding as the Holy Spirit comes to dwell with you. Rest on Neaven.

Dear Anna and family-I love your tribute to Neaven. He won't ever be forgotten and his time here was short but so full of meaning and purpose. You are dear to me and I won't stop praying for you!
just a note
im so very sorry 4 ur loss. so sad. my daughter was 10 nd a half hours old wen she died. she die of maconuium and she got left in to long. she be 4 now. thinking of yous all at this sad time

SPECIAL LITTLE SPIRIT
'You're a Special Little Spirit,'
the all great Master said,
As he gently caressed the curly blond hair
of the Little Spirit's head
'You need to go to Earth
to spend some time, you know,
A place I send most Spirits
to be tested, to learn, and grow.'
The Little Spirit, in sadness,
slowly bowed her head,
And from her eye a tear did steal
and down her cheek it shed.
'Don't you fret now little one,
I won't let you stay too long,
I'll bring you back to help me here,
You'll hardly know that you've been gone.
You're my choicest Little Spirit,
you're the apple of my eye.'
And he wiped the tear and gently kissed
His Little Spirit good-bye.
'I'm back,' the Little Spirit whispered,
as she climbed onto her Master's knee,
And the Master said, 'I told you,
you would not be long away from me.'
And then, the Lord, He noticed
still another tear welled in her eye.
'Why are you so sad, Little Spirit,
whatever should make you cry?'
'I'm glad I'm back,' the Little Spirit said,
'but Master you must surely know,
When Your Angel came to get me,
I did not want to go.
I know You said You needed me,
and that I'd be gone the shortest while,
But Lord, couldn't I have had
a little longer earthly trial?'
The Master let the Little Spirit
slip down from off His knee,
He firmly took the little hand and said,
'Come walk with Me.'
The Little Spirit and the Lord
slowly walked hand in hand,
As the Master explained her special part
in the great and marvelous plan.
'Now, Lord, I don't mean to argue,
I understand that you needed me home.
But I left in such a hurry,
I left everyone hurting and so alone.
I didn't let my earthly parents know
how much I loved them so.
I was too small to tell them Lord,
how will they ever know?
They feel they've been cheated,
and in a way, so do I.
Not getting to share any more than we did,
how can I ever tell them why?'
'Little Spirit, I know your heart is heavy
with this message you need to share.
But you need not worry anymore,
I'll watch over your loved ones there.
I'll send them loving comfort
as a strong and helping hand.
I'll contend and give peace to their aching hearts,
so they will understand.'
The Little Spirit looked up at her Master
and said 'Thank You for explaining it to me.
And could you please tell them that I'm safe and happy,
and that someday They'll be here with me?'
'Yes,' said the Lord with a smile and a nod,
I'll tell them all that I can.
Then the others came to see the Little Spirit,
as the Lord let go of her hand.
He said, 'I'll tell them that you're pure,
as pure as Heaven's Gold,
That I needed the warmth of your perfect soul
to keep Heaven from getting cold'
